"Compton in the Park 2010" was the first outdoor event held by Compton Hospice on this scale. The event was held at West Park, Wolverhampton with an attendance of over 5000 people. The event saw many different acts and activities during the day but the main attraction was the live music which we provided all the sound and lighting for.

For this event we took our EV front of house PA which was perfect for this sized event. The stage was a 22ft truck, kindly loaned by local company, Bickfords. The truck came with a tail lift was used to get larger instruments and amps onto the stage.
Our control area was positioned  70m from the stage area. Due to the lack of stage room, we only used 5 monitors and a basic LED lighting system.
Various acts performed throughout the day including dance groups, DC Fontana, Born Again Beatles, The Town and many more. We also supplied all the radio microphones for 107.7 The Wolf, who also went through our system.
